Finneas Wong, MA (he/him) is a Counseling Psychology doctoral student at Arizona State University, completing his clinical field placement at the SOGIA/EBT Center of Arizona. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University. Finneas previously worked at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston as a research assistant, dedicating his efforts to community intervention implementation and understanding mental health and psychosocial outcomes in marginalized populations. In the past two years, Finneas received doctoral-level clinical training at the Counselor Training Center at ASU as well as the Trauma Healing Services department within LaFrontera-EMPACT, providing trauma-informed integrative individual and group therapy to adults. Finneas' main research interest is in examining the intersection between racial-ethnic and gender identities, associated risk and protective factors, and related mental health and psychosocial outcomes. He is particularly interested in understanding how trans and nonbinary youth and young adults of color navigate, negotiate, and communicate their identities with their parents.

In his free time, Finneas loves playing with his dog Ferb, watching his tortoise Houdini munch on veggies, trying out and critiquing new restaurants, and doing outdoorsy activities.
